I shot this April 6, 2015 after twilight but before the waning Moon rose, so the sky was dark. However, image of comet core is from only one exposure to minimize trailing from this fast-moving comet.13899093 - A “cloud streak” photo made using the same techniques as in stacking star trails only its the clouds trailing, or streaking. I shot this Canada Day, July 1, 2015 from Scotsman Hill overlooking Calgary, awaiting the fireworks. This is a stack of 110 frames, merged with Advanced Stacker Actions using the Ultrastreaks action. Despite the blending, the ~ 8s gap between exposures still led to gaps in the streaks - you’d have to shoot at 1s intervals to eliminate them. To smooth out the gaps I added a duplicate layer for the sky with a Radial Blur filter applied to further streak the clouds.
