This was the second Full Moon of the month (making it a "blue Moon" by popular definition) and it was the closest Full Moon of 2023 (making it also a "super Moon" by another popular definition).

By coincidence, the trails frame the main subject, but the number of satellites now above us make it nearly impossible to take a long exposure image, certainly at the start or end of a night, without recording at least one satellite trail, if not more, per image. Some of the parallel streaks could be Starlink satellites.
